ABSTRACTThe aim of this study was to determine the effect of employee relations onorganizational productivity. In every organization, activities revolve around twomajor groups, the employer and the employee, therefore co-operation is necessaryif the organization must realize its corporate goals. Taking into account the aim ofthis study which is to look into the effect of employee relations on productivity inan organization, you will see that serious and proper examination of the existingliterature on this topic has been assessed .The theoretical framework was adiscussion of theories which explained the relationship between employee relationsand the level of productivity. The theory discussed was equity. The theoryexplained how employee relations practices affects productivity. This study iscentered on the banking sector with Zenith Bank Plc as case study. The researchwork is aimed at bridging the gap between employee relations and organizationalproductivity.vi
