- ABSTRACT
This research work was focused on the EFFECT OF LACK OF PRACTICAL TOOLS ON THE ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE OF STUDENTS in The Ibarapa Polytechnic, Eruwa.
The objectives and purpose of the research work is to determine whether factors such as lack of practical tools, lack of enough practical lecturers, improvising of practical tools has any effect on the academic performance of students, also, to determine if students can cope with academics without adequate practical and equipments.
Stratified method of sampling was used to select sample of 300 students from about 3000 students from the Faculty of Science and Engineering Faculty. The data was collected primarily through the use of questionnaire.
The analysis was done by using Chi-square distribution at 95% level of significant.
At the end of the analysis, the researcher concluded that lack of adequate practical, equipments, and lecturers has significant effects on the academic performance of students, also.
