ABSTRACT This project work was based on the DETERMINANT EFFECT OF PEST IN DISEASE TRANSMISSION AMONG THE INHABITANTS OF IBARAPA NORTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF OYO STATE. Information was gathered through the use of questionnaire which was distributed and finally analyzed. This project woke has five chapters. Chapter one consists of Introduction, Background to the study, Statement of problem, Significance of the Study, Justification of the Study, Broad objectives, Specific objectives, Research questions and Operational definitions. Chapter two contains Literature review of the topic and include Classification of pests, Pests of public Health importance, their role in disease transmission and the life cycle and general control measures of pests. Chapter three comprises of research methodology which include Study design, Study settings, Sample size and Sampling Techniques, Instrument for Data Collection, Limitation of the Study, Scope of the study and Method of Data Analysis.
