ABSTRACT
This study investigated the use of information and communication technology (ICT) as antidote in learning difficulty in chemistry in Ilesa-East L.G.A of Osun state.

100 students and 30 teachers were randomly selected for the study.

The instruments used for collecting information were teachers’ and students’ questionnaires. Data collected were analyzed using Chi-square statistic. The results revealed that:

1. There is a significant difference between teaching guide in chemistry and the use of ICT. X2- Calculated value (36.92) > X2- Table value (5.226).

2. There is a significant relationship between team teaching in chemistry and the relevance of ICT. X2- Calculated value (40.1) > X2- Table value (5.226).

3. There is a significant difference between the use of software publishing tools and network in teaching and learning chemistry and oral classroom teaching. X2- Calculated value (8.656) > X2- Table value (5.226).

4. There is a significant relationship between the attitude of students towards ICT and the use of ICT . X2- Calculated value (38.09) > X2- Table value (5.226).

Based on the above written results, recommendation were made for further improvement in teaching and learning chemistry using ICT as antidote in learning difficulties in chemistry.
