CONSTRUCTION OF WHEEL BARROW
Wheel barrow is used for transporting loads of heavy or bulky by pushing it form one place to another.
A 100kg wheel barrow was constructed using material like;
Bucket - 2.5mm galvanized steel, 700mm span
Carriage - 3mm mild steel
Stand - 45mm wide x4mm width steel
And other parts of like Braces, Rim, and tyres.
After the designing of the equipment, some operations has carried out after it was coupled to form a complete wheel barrow. Some operations that are involved in construction are marking out, cutting, pattern development, filling and drilling, bending, wielding operations and assembling of the parts.
The cost of construction are considered like material, Labour const and other expenses involved. The ability of it to carry load was tested.

Wheel borrow is machine that is in second class lever, in which the load is between the fulcrum (axle) and the in effort (the handles) . It has a V- shape bucket and other features that makes it a complete wheel borrow. From the recent development of wheel borrow we notice that the longer the handle the easier to lift a load without noticing its weight.
Wheel borrow is a machine that was constructed to solve so many problems and difficulties, to reduce loss of man power ,and time . carrying load on human head is one of the problems that are facing the society especially for those that did not have money for transporting their goods from one place to another . Heavy loads are no longer carried with head . Wheel borrow has solve the problem of carrying heavy load with head. Most Industries, gardeners uses wheel barrow to solve some problems.
It is also used for domestic works .the need for construction of wheel borrow has also increase our technological break through and self reliance which is a major concern of human .
The machine is pushed with hand , with a long metal tube which drives the shaft that causes the rotation of the wheel. When the wheel rotates it make a movement which depends on amount of load it is carrying.
