Information
generally is very important, in fact; it is a tool that is used to solve most
human problems.



In
this era of technology advancement, information dissemination and communication
has become a vital tool for mankind to keep abreast with latest development in
its world.



Human
beings desire to be informed of what is within their immediate environment and
the world as a whole. The media is the active agent in the globalization
process by the accessibility of information. Mass media is made up of
television, computer, films, radio e.t.c they have the capability to decide
issues good for the consumption of the public, through their news coverage and
subsequent discussion of event.



Sociologically,
news dissemination by the media in society or Nation is determined by the
ideological setup of the society. When such a society operates, the communist
or capitalist system of economy, the media will reflect idea in the reporting
of events.
