The linkage between the elections and democracy is clear, far, no other method for selecting the leadership of a democratically ruled   society has been proved or crown to be superior but it remain a fact that there is no political system that is conflict free. Even the advanced democracies political participation, citizenship rights, the role of global governance and the media. Western democracy and the American also have fundamental flaws. (Onu and Momoh, 2003: 11)

In Nigeria, after a long period military rule, the pressure for democratic rule was elicited by both internal and externals forces, therefore, one can analogically concluded that domestic politics had been the same among Nigerians caused by economic and within the democracy is dominated by the interest of foreign trade and this to developed Nigeria power outside Africa  only occasionally, it is possible to catch a glimpse that enable one to guess how intense the discussion must have be accompanied by these struggles in triumph of democracy in Nigeria was occasioned by at least one astonishing but of political event (General Abdulsalam Abubakar transition) which possibly did not stand alone and which to serve to how well the underlying economic realities  of political changes were understood (Onu  and  Momoh, 2003: 35).
