ABSTRACT The research is about infriugement of trademark in Uganda, reasons for the increased infiingement on trade mark, solutions for the increased infiingement on trademark. The research also is going to look about the laws that govern trade mark in Uganda and the process of registration of trademarks in Uganda and the importance of registration of trade mark. As it will be seen in the paper, registration of a trade mark is important in case of infiingement occurs as it is direct evidence of one's ownership. The research is also going to look about the remedies available when an infringement occurs. The research will also look about how to overcome the challenges faced by the trade mark owners and practitioners while enforcing intellectual property rights.
