Abstract This examined the relationship between job opportunities and women performance In the selected NGO’s and It was based on four specific objectives: (a) to determine the demographic characteristics of the respondents In terms & age, gender, educational qualifications, and years in the present position; (b) to determine the current extent & job opportunities of the NGO’s; Cc) to determine the level of women performance; and Cd) to establish if there is a significant relationship between the leveis of job opportunities and women performance in selected NGO’s. The study employed a descriptive research design. were used to collect primary data from 103 out of 140 employees, using purposive sampling and simple random sampling. Data analysis was done using SPSS’s frequencies and percentages; means and standard deviation. Findings revealed that majority of the respondents were female, falling in the age bracket of 20 — 39 years, with bachelors degree, and experience between 2-3 years. Also mean and standard deviation showed that the level of both job opportunities and women performances were satisfactory. There is positive and significant relationship between job opportunities and women performance in the selected NGO’s In Hargeisa Somaiiland. Basing on the above findings, the researcher made the following conclusions the following conclusion; once job opportunities allocations are clearly assigned to the HR officers were significantly leads to the strong performance of selected NGO’s. and the findings of recommendations were made: (i) the NGO’s must make a technicai and materials in order to Improve their efficiency and effectiveness of the performance.; (Ii) Women’s of NGO’s shouid always participate the activIty and decision making because discussion and exchange Ideas of the employees brings new innovations and development performance system of the and NGO’s; (IiI)The employees of the NGO’s must get skIlls and training from this NGO’s In order to increase the NGO’s performance because whenever the employees training, skills and experience Increase is when the NGO’s performance Increase. (iv)The managers HODs and stafI~ shouid have regularly meetings to of set policies, procedure, objectives and review the entity’s performance on the regularly basis In order to create a good performance and best suitable goal of the NGO’s.
