It was because of the large population that could not be studied at ago and also considered the strategic location of the area of study with its great fauna and flora, which has been abused for long. Both secondary and primary data were considered in the study. Qualitative methods of data collection were involved in the research. Quantitative data was analyzed by SPSS and qualitative analysis was interpreted as it was got from the field. The research established that the community, under the area of study, was greatly challenged with how to perform their leadership role, and yet hit by the same disease. It then became a confusing state for them since they also had to draw their survival from encroaching the environment. The study concluded that there is need for voluntary counseling and testing both among workers and within the community. That would reduce stigma and thus, would increase human capacity in all sectors of the environment.
