ABSTRACT In our schools there are learners with hearing impairments. It is important for teachers to assess the problem ofleamers with hearing impaired so as to know their problems. The research was done particularly in some selected schools in Kiptoim zone, Esageri division, Koibatek District. These learners should be treated like any other learners, this research study is mainly concern with challenges faced by hearing impaired learners in English Language performance in an inclusive setting. The sample study consisted of headteachers, teachers and learners who interact with their learners in Kiptoim zone, Esageri division. Four schools were selected in the zone which has a total often schools. The data was collected by use of questionnaires. The data collected was then analysed and the results presented in tabular form as frequency distribution and percentage after each item. From the findings, teachers should be well trained on how to handle these learners.
