ABSTRACT

The study was survey research that assessed the human resource factors in the implementation of business education programme in colleges of education in Anambra and Enugu States. Three research questions and null hypotheses guided the study. The population of the study consists of 122 business education lecturers in colleges of education in Anambra and Enugu States. The whole population was studied using structured questionnaire. The data collected were analysed using the mean in answering the research questions and the ANOVA for the null hypotheses. The finding of the study shows that business education lecturers are not adequately available, the few of them that are available, are well qualified but lack job satisfaction. Based on the findings made, the researcher made some recommendations that more business education lecturers should be employed; ICT facilities have to be provided for the lecturers; and lecturers should be sponsored to attend workshops and seminars for upgrading and refresher courses.
