ABSTRACT

This research study was carried out to know the fact on the effect of technological change on the employee turnover, to this end, Portland Paints and Products Plc was chosen as a case study, to acquire the necessary materials for the study, the researcher relied evenly on the data collected through the administered questionnaire to the selected respondent of 55 sample size from the population size of 110, many textbooks, online material, lecture handout and journal written by prolific writers in the field of management were reviewed, in addition, Chi square method is used to analyze data with the help of (SPSS) the significance of the study will reveal the suitability of the theory of technological determinism, its concluded that technological changes has effect on employee turnover, and the company train and retain highly skilled and competent employee whenever there is change in technology,  it is therefore recommended that the business organization should frequently forecast the technological environment so to be aware of possible change in technology, support R&D that is related to the company operation and production, provide adequate and timely training and development programme for employees.
