Overview:

This project work was carried out to determine the effect of different spacing on the growth and yield of celosia argentea. The parameters considered for the experiment include plant height, leaf length, numbers of leaves and population of perforated leaves per plant, taken at 3, 5 and 7 weeks after planting. It was observed that the beds treated with spacing of 30cm x 30cm performed better in terms of growth and yield rate, followed by the beds treated with spacing of 20cm x 20cm. I therefore recommend spacing for celosia argentea production
