Science of Using Maize Varieties Against Helicoverpa Zea in Niger State

Corn varieties were selected based on genetic differences to assess the most resistant cultivar and a landrace was used as a control experimental specie. 

The trial was conducted at the horticultural nursery and later the research was finalised at the laboratory where the laboratory data were collected and subjected to statistical analysis.
